 This is an agreement (the "Agreement") made between the user (identified by the cellular or telephone number identified), referred to as the "User", and LEEUBERG RURAL ASSOCIATION referred to as the "Responder". The agreement is deemed effective upon the activation of the panic button by the User. Both parties are duly registered under the laws of South Africa and have their registered office at 1 Kort Street, Ferreira, Bloemfontein, South Africa.

The User wishes to access the emergency services provided by the RESPONDER through the panic button, and the RESPONDER is willing to provide such services subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

The User acknowledges and agrees that the panic button is to be used for emergency incidents ONLY, such as criminal incidents, accidents (car or life-threatening accidents), fire, medical emergencies, and life-threatening incidents. Misuse of the panic button may result in a penalty charge of R550, as determined by the RESPONDER.

The RESPONDER agrees to provide emergency services to the User subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement. These services are limited to the Bloemfontein (Mangaung) Urban areas namely Fuana, Fleurdal, Uitsig, and Genearal De Wet. The Rural Municipal areas namely Ferreira, Bloemdal, and Tierpoort. The User acknowledges and agrees to pay the following costs for emergency services: non-members of the RESPONDER @ R150.00 per call-out.  Members are not costed for the service, however, the misuse clause shall apply in the event of misusing the panic button.

The User is responsible for ensuring that data are available on their device, and the RESPONDER does not accept responsibility or accountability for any loss caused due to the User not having enough data available on their device.

The User indemnifies the LEEUWBERG RURAL ASSOCIATION and its Directors, Officers, Delegated, and Cell Leaders against any claims for damages arising out of, or in connection with, any personal injury, loss, death, or any other damages suffered during any participation and/or performance of any activities or attendance at incidents of LLA/LRA.

The User agrees to these terms and conditions upon activation of the panic button. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements or understandings, whether written or oral. Both parties are compelled to fulfill their obligations under this agreement upon activation of the panic button.
